CODĒ! is a talented singer, songwriter, and producer with a unique blend of Soul and contemporary R&B music. Originally known as Cody Jefferson, he started his musical journey singing in church with his mother and grandmother at a young age. At 8, he began writing and recording Gospel music. At 10, CODĒ! started winning talent shows and performing on stage. His big break came at 18 when he opened for country music stars Easton Corbin and Logan Mize after winning a talent show. Influenced by artists like Al Green, Bee Gees, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, and Stevie Wonder, CODĒ! honed his talent to create a soulful sound. After years of hard work, he launched his record label, UNDERESTIM8TED PRODUCTIONS, and released his debut R&B album, "MORE THAN I KNEW," in 2021.
His album was a success, earning him the title of 2021 Male R&B Vocalist of the Year at the Arklatex Honor Awards. This led him to begin working on his second R&B album, "The Sides of Love," in 2023. Furthermore, CODĒ! booked and sold out a popular venue in Little Rock, Arkansas and released a live recording and film of the concert in 2024. His music continues to resonate with fans as he effortlessly blends soul and contemporary R&B.
